Trip to Pattaya on the way back aunty Lornas driver wanted to stop at a wat (shrine) to ask for lottery numbers. So we went to the wot and here is a pic of the man after receiving divine advice. Apparently it worked last time.. I can't think of anything smarter then a quick pick myself..

Pattaya...

did a day trip to Pattaya, it was ok.. would not really want to go there in high season. The deck chairs are jammed up on the beach so you will end up close and personal with a fat farang... no thx..not a bad place to retire to though. Condos are CHEAP!!! $30K for a 1 bedroom. 1 hr from BKK

Aunty Lornas house

Non-family members reading this may want to give this post a skip. Pics of my aunts house outside BKK (around the distance of maybe Brampton..) A house like this is around 150-200K. She has several dogs, which she spoils to death. If I am reincarnated as an animal, being one of Aunty Lornas dogs would be my first choice. I told he I was going to tell my mum I was being treated like a dog... lol which is to say with the outmost hospitality.

BKK flight an arrival.

Well it takes about 20 hours in the air to get to BKK. I have to say the Air Canada flight as excellent and the food and service were pretty awesome. definitely the best Air Canada experience i have had. From Narita to BKK I flew Thai and it was and older 747-400 the new AC 777 made the Thai plane seem pretty old. The movie on the Thai plan was Michael Jacksons "this is it". really enjoyed it, he was just in awesome form. It was so sad for everyone that worked on that show that it never happened. I think it would have been one of the greatest concerts EVER!! When I arrived at BKK my Uncle Glenn arranged for VIP treatment, this guy was waiting for me:

WOW! it has been a long time since I went on a long trip. So many things to get ready before I split. Hopefully my house is not trashed, hopefully all the relatives I have seen and look forward to seeing have not become psychos. I'm sure it will be a great.
